Finds are from this weekend at a few city parks.
The class ring read like a very faint Indian head penny and was about 7-8 inches deep.
The 1879 Indian head penny was very deep and on the fringe of me barely picking it up.
Nickels are 1916 plain,1928 plain,1939,1941,1943,1958.
Barber dime is a 1908 plain.
Also pictured is an older button that had good depth. It has a looped back.

I see you had another great weekend of finds.

Are you doing to try to track down the person that lost the ring?

Out of the 4 class rings I have found I was able to track down 3 of the owners.

Hey thanks Mark. yes, I started looking into trying to find the original owner.
The ring is from a bigger town with a lot of graduates in 1940 and there are no personal markings on it.

Nice digs bud! Awesome old class ring. I've always wanted to return one, good luck finding the owner. I believe the old button is a Police uniform button, very cool!
