Very Low Conductivity items?

Hi all...

What can I expect from the single digit/zero Conductivity items ie near or at the bottom line? I know foil shows up in the single digit Conductivity but would I expect anything else? This is using the default discrim btw so nothing too ferrous. I know our bloody juice lids fall in this area and these I tried my hardest to ignore.

Anything I should dig 'just in case'?

btw, I am using a Explorer II with the 10.5" coil.

cheers...Keith

Those blasted aluminum foil bottle cap liners that can be a pain..Have no doubt a small gold chain or bracelet or earring could be a 1 or 2 but unless hunting a beach going to have to dig a lot of foil to get anything good..I usually try to concentrate on those hits that register a number or two below nickle as I call it high foil and thats where the thin womans gold rings come in that usually have nice stones and move on those 1 or 2 numbered hits...as your odds are much better..

Mostly small foil or alum pieces. Some small thin rings can show up too. 22 hulls and small broken pieces of zinc. Those flat liners in plastic bottle caps made of foil seem to give the strongest signal in this area of conductivity. Very small non-ferrous material can give this signal.

admittedly you'll dig alot of junk in that range but if you're on a good site sometimes it pays to dig everything.
