Very local hunt yields SLQ and friends....

We had plenty of rain lately so the ground conditions are perfect. Went in to the nearest town and hit the old school grounds that I have hit many times before.

Got a 1901 V nickel and a pretty sweet 1919 merc and war nickel. And the $1 coin. We should petition that Zincon cents be discontinued (and not replaced by steel coins) and one dollar bills removed in favor of coins. That is what the mint would like to do. Pennies are worthless and cost more than 1 cent to make. And coins last longer than paper money and also make economic sense.

Then went to next town and secured permission to do a couple of yards. Nice when you know almost everyone. Got some more mercs, a 1903 indian and a 1929 SLQ. First for the year I believe.

Congrats on getting into a few yards my friend and getting that SLQ and a few more goodies. Keep up the great finds and hope to see you get out again soon with all the rain we are getting. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH my friend.;)

Nice finds Chris.
Always nice to find some goodies close to home. As for the SLQ...it's my favorite coin. When I'm lucky enough to find one...it is usually dateless...but I still love them regardless.

Nice variety of coins Chris.:clapping: Beautiful SLQ and she had a date to boot. Nice going my friend.:super: Best of luck on your next outing. HH.
