Fuel cost being what it is, all my hunts are becoming rather short, as I go about the necessary travels for each day.

This morning, my little SSuMax w stock 8" coil got me another gold ring, w 3 stones. 3rd Au for this machine!
It will not perform smoothly on WET grass, but does fine as it dries out.

These little piles of scrap are from two sandy tot lots, and the nearby volleyball courts, an hour to recover each pile.

I usually run sensitivity somewhere between 6 & 9, but thought I'd swing it over to the full boost range... and beeped on the stud in the very first swing! Now, THAT was a surprise! But I did take it back out of the boost range...

I always keep discrimination low enough to dig foil and am getting plenty of it...

Can't wait to get over to the beaches.:)

Nice ring.

Thanks to those tot lots, I am able to hunt in wet season.

Not much staying dry around here.

HH,

Great detector. A Top Ten in my book.
