I got out to Horseshoe Bay this afternoon for the low tide, just as Hurricane Kyle was passing off to the west. It was rough as bricks in the Bay and the sand has shifted some but not enough yet. It's been a tough year for this pirate with the sand pushed in deep over my favorite hunting grounds. Thank goodness I've been busy like a one armed paper hanger at the new job.

2 hours netted only $1.82 in clad (all of it really deep) and a tent peg. (my first ever and I found it with the Surf PI DF, what a surprise)

It was just good to get out and hunt for a change but my body is going to be aching tomorrow.
