Very Bricky in Bermuda Today.

I got out to Horseshoe Bay this afternoon for the low tide, just as Hurricane Kyle was passing off to the west. It was rough as bricks in the Bay and the sand has shifted some but not enough yet. It's been a tough year for this pirate with the sand pushed in deep over my favorite hunting grounds. Thank goodness I've been busy like a one armed paper hanger at the new job.:lmfao:

2 hours netted only $1.82 in clad (all of it really deep) and a tent peg. (my first ever and I found it with the Surf PI DF, what a surprise)

It was just good to get out and hunt for a change but my body is going to be aching tomorrow.:stretcher:

Kewl,

Hope some sand moves out for you soon. It's tough going through a long dry run. I found my first ring in a long time the other day and it was a class ring. Thought it was 10K but when I got home and looked at it closely it was VAL. Gold or not gold, doesn't really matter on the class ring as I would try to return it anyway but it sure sounded good for stainless steel. The good side is that I was ready to call it a day but decided to go on for a while and followed some shovel tracks and holes and found lots of coins and two silver rings that they walked right over. btw, the photo of the beach is a beauty. Never been to
Bermuda but looks like a great place to live. Hope things look up for you and me both.

i just bought the Heavy Duty Travel "T" Beach Scoop from Babb's and I'm waiting for delivery. How does this two piece connection hold out under presser. i believe you said you use Babs scoops as well. As always thanks for you help and good luck out there you lucky dog

Thanks, Bill (aka ratpack)

Mine has held up very well but you must make sure that you keep the bolts that hold it together tight, otherwise you will eventually strip out the threads. I had Bill add a SS tip to mine and I'm glad I did as I am a little rough on my equipment.
Going on 3 years of heavy hunting and it looks and works great.

Cheers,

BDA
