vehicle registration 1917

ringer

New member
Did some digging and found "5.5" down a Illinois vehicle tag.
In 1917 Illinos used tags and plates for registration of motor vehicles and motor bicycles.
The tag is heavy guage aluminum 2" disk that was held in place by 2 rivets.
Cleaned up well sorry no pics.
Will bring to next meeting.

Those are pretty neat. Congrats. HH, Nancy

Those are neat, I like the bike plates too.

Does anybody have a pic of your plates. I'm not for sure what you are talking about. TIA

I found this one on the web. Click to enlarge it. They're pretty cool. HH, Nancy
