VDI read on cannon ball"

What would be the VDI reading on a cannon ball in non-minerialized soil using an MXT. Just courious I have never dug a cannon ball but I have had some really deep targets that sounded good.

Wydiablo,
Last year I was hunting a battlesite and the owner came out with a cannonball and said he found it in his garden. It looked to be about a 3 lb. cannonball. I swiped it with my MXT coil and suprisingly it gave a very low VDI number, about a 20 on the VDI. I was really suprised to see the VDI number that low. If your getting deep hits, I would definitely be digging them up.
