vdi numbers way off today

Justme

Well-known member
Went out for while today and every vdi number was way off. Quarters were in the 79-80 range, dimes and pennies are in the 47 range...same range as zinc pennies. Found a toe ring and the vdi numbers on it were all over the place like foil. Vdi about 10-40. Got over $2 in change.

Did you change from Best Data to Correlate?

The only thing that comes to mind is ground balance.Did you lock it or forget to do a new ground balance when you started your hunt?

It sounds like you have un-checked the "normalize" box. Go to transmit frequency, scroll down to single frequency. In the middle colum you will see the normalize box and I'll bet it's not checked. Click on the box to check it and I'll bet your problem will be solved.
good luck
