Vatican Guards or Court Jesters?

[size=large] With the Pope's visit here in the US, there's been a lot of news about him, the Catholic religion, the Vatican, and his security guards called the Swiss Guards. Below is a photo of the Swiss Guards and their 500 year old historical uniforms... kind of silly, isn't it. The Pope, with the outlandish robes, hats, the staff, and everybody kissing his... ring, seems to be on the same level as the traditions of the Muslim religion. Both are more than way outdated. Yeah. Me too. Raised a Catholic. Dropped out after Confirmation.
But,....After I read the Bible I went back tho Catholic Church because it's more biblical then 'Bible only' churches. Now that's strange.

actually, we're only given the opportunity to sin once a week.
And if we fail to sin that day, then we have to pray for forgiveness.
