Vaquero

well, l now own a vaquero, just won it on Ebay, thought for sure that l would be outbid because my bid was low and there were 3 days left on the auction. l previously purchased a almost new Outlaw after some research, l did more research and it seemed that everybody and their brother liked the V better so after downing a few at the bar l bid on a whim and now l own both. I need another arm.

Funny. I had the Vaq and traded it for an Outlaw. What about the Outlaw were you not happy with? Maybe the Vaq I had was a rogue or something, but it just seemed flaky and a bit unstable. I like the Outlaw better, but sometimes I wonder if I just had a bad unit.

I own the Vaquero, 2 Eldorados and 1 Bandido 2 micromax which is what the outlaw is made after. I had an outlaw but preferred my Bandido more so let it go. The Vaquero is an extremely capable and deep detector. I enjoy using all of then and plan to never let them go. Each of them serves their own purposes but if I had to choose only one it would be the Vaquero for its depth, ability to sniff out the goodies, and all around awsomness.

I am very happy with the Outlaw but couldn't compare it to a vaquero, never swung one, like l said it was kind of a whim thing. l am sure that l will keep them both, just need to use both and see which is better at what. l love this forum and peoples personal perspectives, l have learned a lot.

Well IMHO you did good. Both detectors will definitely find stuff.
