vaquero

It depends on what you are looking for. If you want to go deep, bigger is better. If you want to hunt in trashy areas and find the small jewelry, get the 5.75". If you are in highly mineralized soil, get a widescan. If you soil is mild, get the concentric.
Its always best to call me because i know you will have more questions!

Depends.
In non mineralized ground the concentrics are actually the deepest, but I sure love hunting huge areas with my 10X12 DD.
You don't miss much with that, and if I ever go to a saltwater beach the DD coil would work a bit better in that environment.
Some swear by the cleansweep, also great for large areas, I hear.
Trashy sites...the smaller coils are better at snaking through and around heavy trash.
Tot lots, the smaller coils are a little more sensitive, but I have found tiny silver and gold with the larger ones, too.

The 9X8 that comes with the Vaq is a great overall choice to start with, as far as I am concerned, and I have found plenty of cool stuff with that one, including some of my best finds.
