Vaquero WOW!

Took the Vaquero out for a hunt today. I hunted a sand volleyball court. I only found 4 clad coins, but I was amazed at what else I found, and how deep it was. I got a solid hit and dug down an inch or so. This is the depth that the other coins were found at. Nothing! Dug down about 2 more inches ran the Vaquero over the hole, solid hit. Put in the Pro Pointer it sounded right off. ran my hand around didn't feel anything, and still couldn't see anything. After a minute or 2 I see it. It is a screw from a pair of sunglasses. I could'nt believe it. This tiny screw sounded like a coin. I measured the depth of the hole. 4 1/2 inches!

Folks, this detector is for real! I was using the small coil, but I was not super tuned. The more I use this machine, the better I like it.

All the Tesoros I've had experience with have been great on small targets. I dug the head off a horshoe nail (about the size of a #4 shot) at a measured 7.5" with a SSumax with a strong signal. Sometimes a mixed blessing when in areas with lots of small foil etc.

I dug a 1/2 inch copper fitting ,using the 5.75 coil at nearly 2 foot(almost to my elbow) lol!
sens not super tuned.
