I just got a Vaquero with the small coil and I was a bit leary of getting over 4 or 5 inches of depth with the small coil. I took this rig to the trashiest spot in my town on Friday and only had a couple of hours to hunt. I found a silver roosie and a merc buried in the roots of a large trees and they were at least 5 inches deep and the signals were loud. I ended up with a dozen more coins, with some 6 inches plus. I have used plenty of small(4 or 5 inch coils) on other detectors that I have owned, but none top this setup. I used a 5 inch coil on an Explorer and I believe that the 5 and 3/4 coil will do better. I can't believe the power of this little dynamo. Come on spring. R.L.

Vaquero With 5 and 3/4 Inch Coil

I have had a lot of good luck with my Vaquero with the small coil.

I had some really great luck this last fall with the little coil on my Vaquero.
I was averaging 2 pieces of gold per week outta City Parks here in Portland, OR, including my best 2 rings ever.
Got a 14K -w- a saphire and 2 diamonds
Then a week later got an 18K wedding band with 5 diamonds
Also managed a broken 18K with stones missing
And in addition to some gold pins and a broken part of a gold pendant, I also found a pretty little 10K baby ring.

in depth and target separation. Great combo !
Everybody who does not have the 5.75 coil for his Tejon, Vaquero. Cibola or Lobo are just using half the detectors capabilities.

5.75 coil is great.... I don't hunt coins a lot but when I do, I dig everything above small iron....the coil is great on a Vaquero...Best to all, RichardnTn
