Vaquero vs. X3 and X5

Thought about selling the Vaq to get an X3 or X5. Wanted to see
I could get any input. on the defferences. Thanx

pulltab......The Troy X2 was made by Tesoro, the other X3 and X5 were made by the old Fisher (Los Banos, Cal) . If you have problems with the X3 or X5, you have to deal with the new Fisher (First Texas) and the X series of detectors seemed overpriced even in the used market. I would'nt be leary of buying an X2 if the price was reasonable because you have the backup service of Tesoro. The X2 is basically a Tesoro Silver Saber

I have noticed they command top dollar on EBay. just wondered if I would be gaining anything. I'll the Vaquero I like and still have alot to learn about it.

thanks for the input

I doubt that the X series would be that much superior compared to your Vaquero, you just need to take your Vaquero to better spots to hunt:::: old houses, old building tear downs, old parks, picnic groves, old churches or just about anywhere people tended to gather in the 'old days'.
