Vaquero VS Silver Sabre

This may be silly to some people but the reason I purchased my new Vaquero is because I was impressed by an acquaintances 15 year old Silver Sabre.

I am just curious how the SS stacks up against the V. Does the V have a big edge on it or would the SS hold up just as well with the newer tech?
 
I to had a Silver Sabre uMax years ago & it was a very good machine. I don't have or never have used the Vanquero but I do have a Cibola. About the same machine without the adjustable ground balancing knob (Cibola has a factory preset ground balance). I really like (enjoy) the Cibola, I have had many different brands and models over the years & find the Cibola the best machine I have used so far. I think with the new "hot" technology they are now using, the Vanquero and Cibola will go deeper than the Silver. The pinpointing with the Cibola is amazing. All Tesoro detectors are great. Steve.
 
Ya, I was deciding between the cib and the vaq but decided on the vaq because of some of the soil conditions here in california. Who knows if I will even need to adjust the GB that much, but its nice to have it either way.

I HOPE the Vaq goes a little deeper than the old Silver Sabre but I guess I may have to test the two side by side when my V gets here. :tesoro: :detecting:
