vaquero verses exterra 70

Has anyone any opinions on how the Vaquero verses the Exterra 70 performs coin shooting and jewellery hunting in urban areas plus which would be best suited for higher mineralized ground

Well I run a X-Terra 70. It is a very nice unit, and I find some good stuff with it. Got my 3rd silver dime for 2008 just yesterday. Very light machine, easy to use, and fun. Now all that being said I just ordered a Vaquero. I have gotten to the point where I was ignoring "iffy" signals, bad ID numbers (less than dime & quarter). I know this a bad habbit to get into, but hard to get out of. It is so easy to look down and see a 30 on the ID screen and say to yourself. "It's a zinker I am not gonna dig it?" Well I have done this, and feel as if I am missing stuff, heck I know I am.

This was my #1 reason to order a Vaquero. I wanted me to learn a machine that has no ID screen. Learn to dig "iffy', and other. I am eager too test my theory, Beale.

I don't think you will regret it Beal.

From what I've heard the Xterra 70 is a great machine.

But, I mostly like jewelry and artifacts/relics. A display
will do little to help me. I don't need a depth guage. I
can do that better. I don't need something telling me
that good targets are trash. I can make that decision.

I just got a Vaquero and I love it. That doesn't mean
that the Compadre and Silver or even the Euro will
be collecting dust.

I do mean that the Vaquero is as good as any unit I
have used.

Good luck with the V,
