VAQUERO USERS:confused:

I AM LOOKING FOR A LIGHT DETECTOR FOR WHEN I HAVE TO HIKE DEEP INTO THE WOODS.WHAT KIND OF DEPTH ARE YOU GUYS GETTING? I HUNT IN THE NORTH EAST MY GROUND IS NOT HOT WITH MINERALS.:detecting:

I have hauled nickles from 7-8 inches in trashy but neutral ground. WIth the sensitivity at 1 it will find any sized coin at 4". In hypertune it is deep. modern dimes at 8" at beaches in hot sand.

Just last week i pulled out an old pen knife at 8" with the 5.75 coil.

I have a bum shoulder and this unit weighs so little you first think that it is a toy.

Forgot to mention, it folds down really small I can fit it in my knapsack.

...Its as deep as you'll need. A lot of foo-foo is made of the depth issue. In your case a detector that can balance out the minerals and be responsive - yet be packable is asking a lot. The Vaquero can do all this. And then go deep.
If you do miss anything, you'll get it next time. Or someone else will. Or maybe not. Then, someday, you'll die and it won't matter, anyway.

Get the Vaquero. You won't be sorry.
