a number of people on this site have expressed a desire to have their detectors tone changed to a higher pitch,mine came standard with a low tone in all metal and a higher tone in discrimination.is this normal or can you have it tuned to what you want?hh,see ya! blowfly
 
If you have the "standard" tone in disc it can be changed to a higher tone at Tesoro. I don't know if the change affects the AM tone. I have a high tone Vaq ,have never used a standard tone Vaq so I can't compare the two, but it works well for me.
