After carefully considering the suggestions given here( especially one by Elton), I made a decision based on something I saw on the local news.
Summer is here. Our city has begun charging the kids to use the public pools. That's fine if your folks have money. The money has been donated to a fund for kids that can't afford the fee. Kids should be kids, sometimes life isn't fair. It isn't their fault.

I have nothing but praise for you! You should let the people know who you helped what you did with the money! If everybody took just a little time and a small amount of money to help out the world would be a better place. Great job!!!

Thanks, I was going to donate it in his name, then decided that they may not appreciate unsolicited calls in the future asking for other donations.
Will send them a card explaining what I did.
