VAQUERO SNUFFS OUT A BUTTON MY OTHER DETECTORS MISSED

Went up to the hill of many nails , and was digging in all metal , wheat did all the nails come from , I thought i had cleaned this spot up , went for a walk to the river and on my way back i was scanning along and found a few nails but then got a rounded signal and switched to disq , and a very soft signal came thru so I turned up the disq to 1 notch left of nickel and it cut out , I figured it was foil then from about 3 " down up comes this ornate brass button , was no junk around this funny the other detectors didi not pick it up , but that is one thing about the vaquero it picks everything up in all metal so a good find for me , in my world anyway . had fun digging the nails nice to get out

I was going to say, if you could tell the "round signals" from "non-round" signals, just dig the round ones...then I remembered that my good friend Gunnar enjoys digging nails. :) I am glad you were able to get out and get in touch with mother earth. I love the design on that old button and it is in very nice shape. Keep at it bro there is still more to be found. Hopefully you can spend more time at your neighbors house (the one up the road on the right). - Jimmy

Jimmy when a dog plays fetch he is happy with a stick or a tennis ball , ya I like chasing any signal, exempt when it is on a sports field sideline then i get really specific I just keep thinking a coin will be masked in the Iron infested spots I can't help myself .

I enjoy reading what you all are doing with your vaqueros. I keep learning things reading what you have posted. I have not had a chance to really get out on my first real hunt with mine. I have been trying to learn around the yard. I have found a few really small things in the yard and they have been pretty deep. I am impressed when it is something small and 5 or 6 inches. When you talk rounded signal what do you mean? maybe less of that popping and scratching?

That is a cool find congrats.

Bro,
I respect your decision to dig every nail on your farm. I truly wish you the best of luck - Jimmy

Nice find, I love my Vaquero too

Gunnar that's a great recovery! If you detected in my neck of the woods you would be top dog for sure. You're relentless on finding hidden targets.

Radio, usually non Iron targets have a short sound and from every direction no rubble beep or warble , but a coin on edge can make a rubble beep, Dirt, I was using the 5.75" coal this sand is got a bit of magnetite in it and the 5.75 runs smother .
