Vaquero sensitivity

Went to a tot lot this evening for an hour. No luck with jewlry, just the usual clad, a button and a couple of small junk items. I wanted to show those who wonder if the V can find very small objects by posting this pic. Its a little gear to something but the V hit it good at about three inches. I was amazed at just how good the signal was for this. When I pinpointed it I wondered just how small this was gonna be due to the extremely short but high sound I heard.
Every time I use this machine the more I am amazed at just how good a $325 detector can be, "Thanks to Tony" for a great "used" machine!

Yes you will find small stuff. I am thinking that just may be part of the flint striking wheel of a destroyed disposable lighter. Other guesses?

I've been impressed by how small some targets are that my Tesoros have detected. Sometimes in trashy areas it's actually more than desirable, but hey, I'll take that sensitivity over too little.

I once picked up a real tiny rivet off of a kids pair of jeans in the chips at a tot lot with no mineralization.
The disc was set just at iron.
The signal was loud and clear...and the target was almost 12 inches deep!
I was impressed!

Not bad at all.
Thought I would post a pic of some of the stuff I find relic hunting in vco All-Metal.
Yes that is a fragment of iron next to the penny!
The tiny stuff I don't find deeper than an inch, but the bigger stuff like the birdshot I have dug at 4". 22. leads at just a bit past 6".
If you don't get the same results as me - don't worry, I dig signals my wife can't hear, and she hears everything!
