i have been reading back through all of montes posts on anything related to tesoro detectors and i came across one about a year ago which talked about in part detuning detectors.can a person in all metal, detune the vaquero,to a narrower responce by pressing the pinpoint button or is this only for other detectors. hh blowfly.:detecting:

Keep in mind, however, that some models still have an auto-tune in the Pinpoint mode. If it is too fast, or your pinpointing techniques too slow, the auto-tune can restore the Threshold setting and fight your efforts to detune and pinpoint.
