this morning searching a sand filled volleyball court in all metal,i hit a target and thumbed it into disc
to evaluate it's potential for retrieval, however the all metal sound didn't change, the disc wouldn't work
except for the pop ,crackle, whiz, fart sound all the way up to full disc.stop, scratch head, turn it off.
it just came back from the dealer who said it was now okay to use again.changed the battery, still
doesn't work properly.now not sure if it is working only in am.kept dropping coins on the ground in
front of it to see it was responding or not.finally gave up and went home.rang the dealer and told him
the problem and said i was going to send it to tesoro direct and let them sort out the problem.at first
he okayed this.but he rang me back and insisted i send it to him and he would send it tesoro.he fixed
it the last time?is he being a good dealer or just covering his ass.wouldn't be the first time i've been
wrong.we'll see.so it's back to the silver sabre,25 years old and it still works,so much for new fangled stuff
hh.see ya! blowfly

I had one for about 9 months with no trouble, It found me my deepest coin over 10 inches, I would send it back to Tesoro, it has a unlimited warranty. I know most dealers don't have the right equipment to test it, so I would send a note saying that it was repaired once before by dealer so Tesoro knows your not the one that opened it up.
