Vaquero or Tejon for silver coins

What is better for silver coins , Vaquero or Tejon?

P.S.
If possible is Tesoro comes on 2011 with a new detector?

Either machine will do well for finding silver coins.

Will Tesoro have a new machine for 2011? Only Tesoro knows and they're not talking.

Really??
Vaquero operating frequency is 14 kHz , Tejon have 17.6 kHz .
Which frequency is better for silver conductivity?

Only 3.6 khz difference in these two detectors. Too close to call.

I'm not sure which frequency is supposed to be best for silver (I don't pay much attention to that) but my Tejon has found silver coins without issue. So has my Cortes. So has my Golden. So has a few other machines I've had. I can't see frequency being a factor for silver.

My ID Edge is 6.25 khz, Cortes is 10 khz. In air tests with a Mercury dime the Edge gives a high tone dime signal up to 7.5", the Cortes up to 7". Both will signal a little deeper but the ID is off. Seems like 4 or 5 khz doesn't mean anything for a target the size of a dime.

The Vaquero is a little more stable in operation. The Tejon amazes me with what it can find. Started finding very small silver beads once in a field. It was a silver beaded necklace that had broken and the beads flew everywhere. The Vaquero has a very limited response to these small silver beads.

I just took my Tejon out today to do some coinshooting and I loved how with the dual discriminator it was easy to bypass trash and find coins. Also, it gets awesome depth. I would take the Tejon over the Vaquero if you need any discrimination.
