Vaquero meter?

This is probably a stupid question but has anyone ever made a box/meter for the Vaquero like the Ron's meter for the Minelab Sovereign?
 
Probably not as easily done since Minelab purposely added the voltage output for a meter but discontinued offering an add-on meter.
Therefore its easy to make a 2 volt meter and take advantage of the meter output.
