Vaquero loves silver

I did a two and a half hour hunt this morning and a little over an hour right before dark. I got very lucky and found a virgin yard that has lots of goodies. Gotta love this hobby. So far I got 6 silver dimes ,a gold ring, two tokens ,two war nickels ,two buffalos ,one Indian head (1891) ,wheats ,a thimble,a couple of others and a cool button. These spots don't come along to often. :usaf:

Fantastic finds. I've never found that much in one day with my Vaquero. Can you give us some information as to depth, orientation and locations of some of the finds?

The ring and about 40% of the coins were found under the close line. Nothing super deep about 7 inches max. I usually run between iron and nickel setting. The IH was about four inches and right by it at the same depth was a coke top from the 80s . It must have been a garden spot at one time.
I went out there this morning and got ran off by some old lady . The owners walked away from the place about 15 years ago and moved out of state . The old lady took it upon herself to be its guardian . The neighbor on the other side of the place told me to go ahead and hunt it that no one cares about the place and it needs to be torn down . I found another Mercury dime and four wheatys in about 40 minutes before I left. The good thing is I went back to the neighbors and she said to search her yard whenever I want to and her daughter lives across the street and I could hit that one to. Both homes are pretty old .One built in 1940 and the other built in 1920ish. Now I just need more time to get over there.

Sounds exciting. Post what ever you find and information about each.
7" on a coin for the V is good.

and only needs the owner to help out by finding a new place to play! :)

Congrats on the success you had and stumbling upon access to two more yards to hunt.
