Hello to the forum!
I got my Vaquero 2 weeks ago, leading up to the purchase this forum helped me with the decision. Thank you all for your insight. I would also like to thank Tesoro for making what seems to be a great product so far.
I have found some interesting items (I think) and could use some help identifying some of them
(see video)

Thanks

It looks like you're off to a good start with your new Vaquero.

Nice video. Thanks for sharing. Those look like musket balls to me and that large spoon is most likely a severing or cooking spoon.

Cool video! I believe the spoon is what's called a fiddle back spoon that dates from 1800-1840's (Ive found same type spoon without the handle atached)just google pewter spoon history In America 1650-1850 and see for yourself You could prob find information on forks the same way. I to owned a bounty hunter (fast tracker)before owning my Vaquero (since 3/13)and yes, light years apart. I have been griding this one area at a school for several weekend now with a huge field and a lot of early history attached to the area and have made some recent significant finds that I will be posting as soon as I buy a decent camera to post my pics(mine crapped out) I only have one philosophy when I'm on the hunt and that philosophy is to remember, the only rule that applies in metal detecting is that persistence pays off your new Vaquero! happy digging

Thanks for the info, I can't wait to go back in the woods and hit that site again.
