Vaquero hunt

Hunted an old home site. Many pieces of iron. Nails were everywhere. Hunted yesterday with the stock coil. Didn't find but large target, junk, but noticed several places where there were a lot of metal targets in a very small area. Went back today with the 5.75" coil. Found several items ? and two wheat pennies, 1952 d and 1917. Surprising though the pennies were less than 2" deep. No idea what the two things are on the left.

Looks like a good place to hunt Mark.
You made the right choice to put on the small coil and try some more.
I usually use the small coil too around old homesites and I find that I hunt closer and slower, because of the small area I cover with it.
I went out yesterday and only used the Vaquero with the small coil and hunted two yards and two school grounds and found 117 coins, two rings, and some bottle caps, pull tabs and other trash.
If you found those wheaties, there may be some silver there also, so keep looking.
Good luck,
Felix
