Vaquero how to

What is the best way to setup and use the Vaquero using either the stock or the 12 x 10 widescan coil on saltwater beaches?

GB the unit in the wet or on the dry sand for use in either spot, with the bigger coil you need to run the Sens around 3 or 4, might have to use the Disc too, set to pickup the smallest gold ring you expect to find. Remember VLF's see salt as a constant Pos. so the unit will be noisy in the wet should do OK in the dry, you'll do a lot of digging, all the time wishing you had bought an Excal or Sov GT LOL Found some nice nuggets with my Tejon and in England a one of a kind Celtic gold 1/4 Stater so these machines will get it done.......;) HH...Geo

Can I expect to lose a lot of depth turning down the sen to 3 or 4?

Remember a stable, smooth sounding unit is what you are striving for in any situation, don't be afraid to make adjustments to this detector to make it perform, heres an article for you to read and the list of coils that are available for the T the V the C and the LST....Good Hunting...Geo
