Vaquero Finds WW2 Find Today

Hi all, this morning I went to a park owned by the city that used to be owned by the Armoury. Found this with my Vaquero using the stock coil. It was down 7-8 inches.
It is off a WW2 era 2 inch british mortar round.
 
I read somewhere that one detectorist dies in the UK a year from hitting unexploded ordnance which is a bit scary !

sure is a different sort of find just glad it wasn't armed :thumbup:

You may get drafted in WW3 to clear mines, because now you have experience in clearing them
 
the guys in europe who hunt the ww2 spots find a lot of those. i like watching their videos on the youtube. cool find
