Vaquero finds a button

Got this button out of the drive for the house behind us just inside our property line. It was 6 inches easy in compact gravel filled soil where the old drive was. Interesting find,
 
that is nice Must have been someone in the military who lived in the house and lost it .
 
Im not a button expert but Ive never found a military button with holes in it . It looks old .
 
I think that is an older button...I've seen one before dug from an old demo site. Don't know any other thing about it other than that? For a lot of us there's nothing better than digging up a little history from different eras and finds like this look nice in a display case:detecting: Best of luck out there and HH!
