Vaquero finds a 1937 Walker!

Beale

New member
Well this morning I got an early start to beat the crowd to the local tot lot. I did pretty good for myself. I managed to pull $2.50 out of the wood chips. I also got a "friends" soccer locket and a pokemon chip.

I came on home and ate some lunch and went out again. I went to a homesite that I have found lots of wheats on but no silver. I had already found a 58 wheat, and was working the clothes line area. I got a hit and dug a plug. The find was still in the hole. I brushed a bit of dirt and saw "Silver" ridges. I pulled the coin out and saw Lady Liberty!! I actually sat down and just looked at it for like 5 minutes! I was so stoked, the Vaquero had come through again. Another 1st and a very happy me, Beale.

[quote tabdog]Cool, love those Walking Liberties.

Was it a quarter?

My bad it was a Half Dollar, Beale.

That's great Beale!

WoW!

I actually found my oldest coin today, also.

A wheat penny!

I was very surprised, but didn't take any time to look at it.

Congratulations on the wondeful dig!
