Vaquero compared to the Tejon

Need actual experiences between the two

I have never found an area that my Vaquero would not work and work top notch. I have however found many locations to which my Tejon was adversely affected by the EMI in the area and was rendered useless to operate. Both machines have their strengths. If you are looking for overall brute depth the Tejon is the machine to use. If you are looking for a machine that is less in price but an excellent machine then you want the Vaquero. The Tejon has benefit over the Vaquero in that it has dual discrimination and it goes deeper, however, the Vaquero goes so deep that it is very very rare that it does not find what is in the ground. As an overall machine I prefer to use my Vaquero, if I am in an area that has little interference and very deep objects then I reach for my Tejon. Hope this helps!

I already have a Vaquero, but was looking to buy a Tejon so I could use the assortment of coils I already own.
