Hay that is really good of tesoro to do that , you know i always would hesitate on buying one because i knew i would have to fork over more money for the DD coil I really wanted on it , I am impressed with tesoro, that is great

I would not say your VAQ is outdated , if your ground is mild, but most average ground or more mineralized ground will see a improvement in performance with that new coil not to mention better coverage, in my soil i would take that new coil , I even noticed my silver does better with a DD coil

A friend is looking at a Vaq. How well does it do in all aspects ? Does it work good for small gold nuggets and still be a great coin machine? I ask for him because I use Minelab. Way back in about 1979, I owned a C&G Technologys Lynx. I think the grand daddy of Tesoro. ?
