hiya guys,,,ive been readin a few comments re. Tesoro needs a new machine etc.,,well every company needs to be up at the front of the pack to stay healthy,,,and i believe Tesoro needs to be there to maintain its brand,,but i think some companies lose the identity they were once famous for by trying to do what everybody else is doing and not being themselves,,they seem to end up with a product thats not as good as the copied product,, and looks alien to the brands original style,,i dont know if Tesoro machines need another screen machine,,,there are lots on the market,,,now tone i.d.,,, thats what i like ,,and Tesoro have terrific machines,,,but can they be improved ??,,, i dunno,,does visual /audio i.d. work past 7 inches,,,can you put a screen on a machine needed to go a foot deep and expect the i.d. to be correct,,can the tones be relied upon at a foot,,if not maybe thats whats needed to be worked on,,,i would love a Vaquero or cibola with a three tone i.d.,,and water resistant to 50 feet, ,,or does the depth of detection render it imposible to give correct i.d.,,,or on the other hand ,,could i have a Cortez that i.ds at a foot,,,,,what a machine that would be,,,,you dont need a screen,, as audio i.d. is better,or more accurate ,,so why build a machine which is unreliable in one way or another,,,,why not just improve the equipment already available ??,,,,p.s. C-SCOPE,,has after 5 years of R and D just introduced their two new machines the CS 6 mxi,,and CS4 mxi,,guess what ,,they use the excellent audio i.d. that C- SCOPE have been succesfull for and twin disc. on the 4mxi,,, but no screens,,,,maybe thats food for thought,,????
