Vaq machine broke down today

What a bummer, it wouldn't pick up a quarter @ 2 inches so she's taking a trip to AZ monday, at least I had my back up in the car.

I suppose it's bound to happen, but it's surprisingly rare.

I've actually got a dead Silver Sabre here.
Having such fun with my other Tesoros that I haven't mailed it in for repair...
...For over 3 years now !

I figure it's something simple. It just won't power up.

Good luck with getting yours repaired.
Be sure to send the coil you use most frequently along with it,
if you use more than one coil.

Ground Balance control wasn't turned fully clock-wise, didn't you? I've known a few people to have turned it all the way, or too close to fully adjusted, that it knocked out the big silver $ and silver 50

Just a thought, if you have a voltmeter check the battery voltage when the vaq is turned on, better still buy a new good battery before you take it in for repair,
