I had purchased a Deus when they first came out and I really liked the detector but hated the head phones so I sold it.Well I have always kept up with the Deus forums and was impressed with all the different head phone options now available so I purchased another Deus.After looking at all the options I decided to go with the Vance Muffs from Vance Metal Detecting.I have not used any of the other options other than the WS4's that came with the detector so I cannot compare the other makers of phones for the Deus.However I have used a lot of different phones over the last 15 years and the Vance Muffs are as good or better than any I have used.Great sound,quality built,easy to store and do a very very good job of keeping the unwanted noise out.It is easy to hear those little faint deep high tones that just beg you to dig.If you are looking for some full size phones for the Deus in my opinion you would be well satisfied with the Vance Muffs.First trip out with the Deus and the Vance Muffs found my first 2 cent coin after 15 years.

DetectorPro has just announced a Gray Ghost wireless headphone for the XP DEUS and they will be available soon through your XP dealer as well as directly from DetectorPro.

The concept was started in Europe and now we have options in the US for headphones that allow the WS4 controller to be swapped between the backphone and a fulll set of headphones.
