My car had the tensioner pulley go out and ate the belt. Bought a pulley and belt. Got the pulley on and the belt was too big. Went to adifferent store and asked for the smallest belt they had for the car. It was 5 min. till 9 o'clock p.m. Someone had taken the belt out of the cardboard sleeve, now it's all twisted and doesn't want to co-operate. Finally got everything lined up and it's too big. It's now 10 p.m. Took the day off and took the wife to work so I could have a car. Went to the biggest parts place in town. They have the rep. if you need it they have it. Nope not this time. Went to the dealer near me. Don't have a listing for that small of a belt but the guy said go home and get the casting number from the tensioner. I did and called him back with it. Called him back at 12:30 p.m. He had to order it and was in the next day. Took less than 15 min. to fish the belt around where it went and put the tension back on. Autoscam and Advanced Scam hire kids that barely know how to change a tire. Arrrrrgh!
I'll pray that the LORD gives you something with value, affordable and you can get your outa-sight ice cream. May God bless you and yours.

Time for a new ride! :)

My 1985 Crown Victoria had a little over 100,000 miles and all I did was put money into it and finally practically gave it away. Didn't even get the money back that I had put in it for all the new parts replacing all the stuff that kept needing replaced. So count your blessings and hope you find a good replacement for a good price that will last as long!

God Bless & Happy Hunting!
Betty
