VA Problem

I've seen a couple of letters posted that were sent to various government officials that certianly did not help our hobby, they were essentially threatening the official(s) involved.
I have some friends that are archeologists and would like to hear where people makes finds of copper culture artifacts. They know that there will never be enough funding to dig even a small percentage of sites that they know of, much less find new sites before they are destroyed by development.
One thing we can all do is not dig in public areas during dry conditions. There is no way that you can avoid causing a brown spot. Even though it will be completely gone the next year people still see them and complain.
