VA Beach - Yea... we were there! Nitro- gold - mumbles - and a great lesson in "Maxology"

What to say.... mann... what a trip! Thanks Max for everything... see you again in the very near future! Next time, were do'n snow crabs!

We started Friday and as soon as we hit the surf here comes Big Dave and he's really happy about his first gold for 2006! There's a photo of it below. I snagged a leather bracelet with a message from the surf god then shortly after that I pulled a 10k ring!! WOW!! What a Friday!

Saturday we hunted but no gold. The lane was so crowded we could hardly hunt it. We quit early and headed out that evening for a "Nitehawk" style hunt but I was ragged out and didn't last past midnight. We called it quits and headed back then Bia pulls a super nice Gerber knife from the slope. NICE!!

Sunday on our way out we had our final hunt at Ocean View in Norfolk. Bia snagged a Nitro "heart stopper" that even had me going! It's in the video. This thing looked real at first!

Well, from what we've heard the gold is in "the lane". I wish we pulled the spectacular find of the summer but hey... there's always next week! Right Max!

Everyone has certain ways that work for them but I love my dive boots. You can go to any dive shop and they will have many different styles to choose from but I prefer the wet boot style with the zippers because they are very tight around the ankles so sand and shells have a hard time getting in. You can wear them in dry sand or in the water and they are reasonable comfortable. I bought my last pair from ebay and have used them for about 2 years. Good luck and keep the pics coming.

Nice rangs guys. I think that nitro of Bia's could say 18K GE for gold electroplate. I got 1 that says that same thing. Check closer and see if I'm right. Ya'll's video & pics are excellent. Wish I had the time to take pics, but too much hunting to do. That pic of Max is a classic. You should get an 8x10 or so and frame it for him for his belated b-day. You guys did great!
