I think I might have seen you in the distance for a short time. There was someone else detecting too who mainly stayed up beyond the wash of the waves in the higher wet sand. I passed him a couple times, but did not recognize him. The winds were ferocious. At one point I almost lost my heavy stainless steel scoop because some wash caught it and started dragging it out to sea. I never thought the surf could be strong enough to drag that around. It was quite miserable out there yesterday, but also interesting to be out in the midst of the storm.
