V3i winter hunting

Depends want you mean by cold but, it shouldn't hurt it. The batteries won't last as long and if cold enough the screen might get dimmer. I would watch for condensation on the unit when you bring it into a warm house. I'd remove the batteries and leave the door open for awhile.
I've got the the high and low operating limits somewhere and will look for them. ROB

Temperature can be a factor. Although designed to maintain loop calibration from 33 - 100 degrees , if you're near or above 100, you are at the upper variable for the limits of coil calibration. Typically things are not as well calibrated as they are under 100. Identically, under 33, calibration can be a little off, returning when the temperature becomes more enjoyable.
