V3i Screen in the SUN...?

Diggler

Member
I did a search for "Sun" in the V3i forum and got ZERO results.I guess that means there are no issues? Is the screen easy to read in the sun? Are some angles and intensities a problem? Any info and opinions appreciated.
Thanks, Ron

It has to be directly reflecting the sun for it to be a problem. You can change the background color to your liking if you need more contrast. I dont use the backlight most of the time, unless its dark or seriously over cast.

Absolutely no problem. Bright colors on a white background and back light if you want it.

I have found that the brighter it is outside the brighter the display.

Hey Diggler,

If you feel there's a glare problem, use sunglasses (if you haven't already). Polarized sunglasses sometimes give you difficulty in looking at your screen where you have to sometimes tilt your head to get a clearer view.

Hope this helps,

TC-NM
