V3i Reset question.............

Elton

New member
It says in Manual restore will only restore factory settings if you did not Manually set a program. In the event you set a program manually, is there a Master restore for returning the V3i to all factory settings ??

Yes but not advisable I don't believe. If it is a program you want restored, do it in the programs restore section. H.H. Yazoo

Program restore will not make the change back to factory settings if manual change was made ???? It just changes it back to the last manual change that was made.. ????? Am I understanding the manual wrong...??

Not quite sure exactly what you need Elton. The Master Reset is not posted on the forums. Whites removed the procedure. It will reset all your programs and every change of any kind will be gone. If you want to do that call Whites for the procedure.

I think you just need to erase the programs you don't want and reload them fresh from the library.

Thanks Rob

Lets say you started with the coin and jewelry program. Then you make changes and save it. then you make more changes but don't like them. If you hit restore it will not go back to the factory setting. it goes back to your last save.

You can.t save your changed C/J program to the library unless you rename it. That's because you can't overwrite the factory program named C/J.

So as I said, go to the expert menu and erase C/J. It will be done from your list. Now reload the factory C/J from the library.

Ok.Thanks Rob..that cleared it up for me......
