v3i plug in

Has anyone had the black plastic around the plugin on the V3i box for the coil break off, part of mine chipped off should I send it in or try to get the part? Don Tyler New hampshire

Not sure what the problem is. How about a picture.

Sorry Don, I dont understand can you reword it a bit??? Mickfin

I would send something like that in as a warranty replacement. If it's chipped, or exposes wires/circuitry to humidity it may eventually lead to other problems. (of course w/out a picture or a close look at the damage i'm just utilizing my intuition with a massive s.w.a.g.)

Sorry for bad info, It is where you plug your coil to the box on the V3i it has a black plastic rim on the female connector, will be shipping out to get replaced. thanks Don tyler

Thanks for the reply. It's appreciated.

Did it break off or just fall out of the headphone jack hole.If there is no part in the hole just replace the plug.If I am getting this right. Yazoo

He's talking about the connector where you plug in the coil cable, not phones.
