V3i in Southwest Oregon?

I am looking to find someone in Southwest Oregon with a V3i. I'd like to see a demo.

I have tried a couple other units and have friends with a E-tracs. But haven't run into anyone with a V3i to look at. Which seems funny since I am 2 hours south of the White's plant.

Anyone?

If I was 2 hours from the plant I'd be there in a flash. Who would have more (correct) information then them? If I'm ever in the area I sure would stop in.

Yes, and I will. But I have an extensive target garden set up in my yard. I want to test the V3i against the others on known targets to see the differences. I don't think I can do that at the plant.

You have the best plan IMO. I never could surface a local hunter with a V3i for that comparison, even V3i to V3i. Hope it works out for you. martin

Give them a call, before you drive. I know they have a test garden. It is hard to believe there are no dealers close to you. Go to the Whites site and punch in your zip code.

I drove 120 miles to meet Larry and get introduced to the V3. Until then I was happy with my MXT. Martin there is a dealer who has a full time shop not that far from you. I have stopped and talked to him when I visit my son in North Richland Hills.

Thanks Rob. I have become sorta sedentary in detecting and it'd be nice to refresh the zeal with some chit chat with a local. I'll look into that. martin
