V3i in 2010...What will 2011 bring?

Well, I think everyone in the forum can now agree that the V3i is one amazing metal detector. The posts this year were certainly much different than the ones in 2009! There was a lot of confusion and dissatisfaction when the original Vision and early V3s hit the market! I think we have come a long way!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so rather than bore you with descriptions of my favorite or best finds with the "V" this year, I will just sum up the year with one photo.

I wish you all a happy holiday season and a prosperous 2011!

I think you should reconsider on just the one picture Neil, we know you made a lot of great finds this year. I will be adding to the picture brigade with 2010 finds when I get the chance, hopefully next week. Others?

A handful of large coppers really looks nice........

Beautifull finds Neil!! I have detected many years and never found a large cent. Thats one on my list for 2011.

Again sweeeet!!:clapping: Merry Christmas!

You've had a lot of great posts for us Neil! (May 2011 be even better!) Those big coppers sure are beautious!

Great year 2010 - I'm sure 2011 will be even better. About V31 - nuff said!! Good luck and HH!

DANG! I got to find a large cent in 2011, and I know just where to look...;)
Congrats Neil!:clapping:

Super job with the detector!

Neil ... you so lucky ... to live in an area that has 1800 history.
Those are some nice finds and anyone would be happy with finding just one.

The V3i is a very advanced detector and those that learn how to use its versatility will benefit the most.
Unfortunately ... some can not cope with the advanced adjustments and the long learning curve.

Did you find those using the stock programs or did you tweek a bit?

Willee

and yes, our history goes back much further...my oldest dated coin is 1699. But it is a double edged sword. I am also in one of the most densely populated areas of the nation and there is not that much open land to detect.

Where do you live?

WOW! Great finds Neil!
2011 is going to be a great year for finding treasure. I have historic homes lined up for hunting this upcoming year!
