Yesterday I tried my V3i on the beach using the preset salt beach program. It worked find in the dry sand. I buried a ring around 8'' in the wet sand and after ground balancing, I tried to detect it but it would not give a tone. The V displayed the correct depth but it null as it was a rejected target. I went to the filters, increased the disc., gain as well as other adjustments but it would no give a sound I was using the DD coil. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
