V3i field hunts

Thought I would share a couple of my last hunts here. Nothing really mind blowing but I do have to note that these two hunts are at sites that have been hunted by an Etrac, Deus, F75SE, and (obviously) the V3i. Not a brand comparison by any means, just showing that the perfect find-all detector has yet to be built! I used the d2, 10x12 sef, and the 4x6 shooter for these recoveries. I run a field hunt program of my own tweaking, nothing special other than I have every thing open from -20 to +94, but audio only on the positive settings. It provides me with less nulling and let's me know when I'm getting into the iron, i.e. slow down!.

Finds include:

Handful of wheaties from the teens (including my third or fourth 09', no s lol) two ih from the 80's, the 'high relief 1914 barber...Lol, lightning rod, crotal bell, iron, token, concho (old leaded one), buttons, buckles, lamp parts, etc.... fun hunts. I can't wait for the other fields to get harvested. Gained permission to some nice sites this year.

Happy hunting all!

Those finds represent several hours of fun for sure! That $1 token looks really interesting. Best of luck at the other fields and...

Happy Hunting!
