Are you using the Deep Silver program? It is Mixed Mode single frequency and is going to get about as deep as you can get with a VLF detector. The detector and program is only half of the equation, you also have to know what to listen for and what the detector is telling you on deep targets. Are you new to detecting and new with the V3i? There is a lot of good information and experienced users on the V3i forum if you have not found it yet. It is right above this forum on the forum index.
